The West Ridge Lanes and Family Fun Center on SW Westport Drive has go karts, miniature golf, and a great bowling alley. There’s a little something there for all ages, and you can enjoy food, beverages, and music while you’re there as well. If you happen to have a group of eight, you can even form your own bowling league!
2 – Topeka’s Civic Theatre and Academy
You can find the Civic Theatre and Academy on SW Eight Avenue in Topeka. This theater was founded in the late 1930s, and it acts as the home to various musicals, plays, and even improv comedy. It’s a full fledged dinner theater as well, so you can enjoy some nice dining along with your show. Depending on the time of year, you might be able to take in anything from Shakespeare to classic Disney stories.
3 – Gage Park
Gage Park has been running since the late 1890s, and it’s one of Kansas’ largest with a whopping 160 acres. You can check out the Reinisch Rose Garden here, as well as the Topeka Zoo and Children’s Discovery Center. If you’re traveling with your family, this is a true must-visit location.
